1. The software

Game Bridger (“the App”) is a macOS application that runs Windows games using the Wine compatibility layer. It installs and launches the Windows version of the Steam client, installs and launches games from your Epic Games and GOG libraries, and runs other Windows games you add yourself. The App does not include or redistribute any store's software or games: Steam is downloaded from Valve's servers, and Epic Games and GOG games are downloaded from those stores' own servers using the open-source clients Legendary and gogdl. Your use of each store remains subject to that store's own terms, such as the Steam Subscriber Agreement, the Epic Games End User License Agreement and GOG's User Agreement. You are responsible for having the right to play any game you add to the App.

2. Trial and subscription

The App includes a free 10-day trial. Continued use after the trial requires a paid subscription, billed monthly ($6) or yearly ($50), plus any applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the link in your receipt email; access continues until the end of the paid period.

3. License

A subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the App on your own Macs while the subscription is active. You may not resell, share or redistribute license keys.

4. Compatibility

Compatibility with specific games is not guaranteed. Some games, including those using anti-cheat software, may not run. Please use the free trial to confirm the App works for you before subscribing.

5. Third parties

Game Bridger is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Valve Corporation, Epic Games, Inc., GOG sp. z o.o., CD PROJEKT S.A. or Apple Inc. Steam is a trademark of Valve Corporation. Epic Games is a trademark of Epic Games, Inc. GOG is a trademark of CD PROJEKT S.A. Wine is free software licensed under the GNU LGPL. Legendary and gogdl are free software licensed under the GNU GPL v3; the App downloads them from their official releases and runs them as separate programs.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by our reseller, Polar, who acts as the merchant of record for all orders.

7. Security and fraud prevention

To keep free trials, founder seats and invite rewards fair, the App and our servers use a one-way hash of your Mac's hardware ID and, when you claim a founder seat or use an invite code, a one-way hash of your IP address and your country. We use these only to prevent abuse (for example, one person claiming many free seats) and may limit or cancel benefits obtained through abuse. We never store your raw IP address. Details are in our Privacy Policy. By downloading or using the App you agree to this.

8. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from its use.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page.
